Greenhouse Effect is easily my favorite coffee shop in Utah. The crepes here are to die for and the coffee is super high quality. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or a place to hang out with friends! (California crepe is a 10/10)

This place was fantastic! I have an app that finds places with gluten free options and this was one of the highly recommended spots. We popped in for breakfast before heading out on a long drive of 7+ hours home. PERFECT CHOICE It's been so long since I've been able to have crepes because no where around me serves gluten free. This was amazing and, after waffling back and forth on whether I would prefer sweet or savory, I landed on the the caramel apple crepe. It was like eating a apple pie with a caramel drizzle. I wish that we had one in my area because I would eat them all the time... or maybe I don't. My friend got the strawberries and creme and shew as just as impressed... although she was able to get the gluten version. This place was pretty busy and there was no place inside to eat, and that was okay since despite it being November, it was relatively warmish outside and we had a 3 month puppy with us, we sat outside on the patio. Our drinks came out first - as one would expect - and the waitress came out with our food. She set them down and realized she had reversed our orders and fixed it without any prompting from us.

FAST Review Food: OMG the crepes are amazing. We got a couple of Savory's and Sweet crepes. The Spinach Feta was hot with lots of flavor. The Apple Cinnamon and Classic both were very tasty and sweet. Atmosphere: It was a beautiful Spring Saturday and we sat out on the patio. Everyone was enjoying the warm morning. Dogs laying out in the sun. Service: It was busy, the coffees came out quickly but the crepes came out slow but no one cared because it was such a beautiful day. You could see the crew was working hard to get food out quickly. Tips: Enjoy the patio, all of the crepes look amazing.

If you're all about crepes, you may find Greenhouse Effect to be just a-ok. I was excited to try a sweet crepe and found that it was really thick and sparse on the toppings. It wasn't as amazing as I'd hope it would be. However, the ambience and the service were great, so I bumped up the rating. There is a great patio, which was calling to me, but the cold-ish temperature and the wind pushed me inside. Not to worry, I found a table and was able to enjoy indoor seating. The coffee was also ok-not amazing, not terrible. Overall, it seems to be the theme here.

as someone with dietary restrictions, i scoped the place out before i got there-- i knew they had vegan banana bread but i was surprised to find out that they also made a separate vegan batter for their crepes, as well as vegan rice pudding! there are so many options for the crepes, so i asked the employee which ones would most easily be made vegan. she was super nice and helpful, and told me that the chocolate ganache was vegan, as well as the fruit toppings. for savory, the black bean crepe could easily be made vegan. i ended up getting the peanut butter cup crepe-- for someone who absolutely loves chocolate and peanut butter, this was the perfect choice. it was literally drowning in chocolate and peanut butter. the chocolate was nice and rich and not too sweet. if you prefer less sauce, i'd prolly just ask them to put less. the crepe itself was super soft and slightly chewy. the place is really cute and has a surprising amount of indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating. there isn't much parking behind the store, so i'd recommend parking on the street. overall, really enjoyed it. i'll definitely be back to check out the other vegan options!

I love that this place has its own parking lot. It's cute inside and out. There actually weren't tables available inside on a Saturday night but I had thermals on so we sat outside. Lots of outdoor seating. I think the restaurant has its own dog too? I was there 4 hours and this dog just did laps around the patio and sat calmly watching cars and people go by. I really enjoyed the dude who was working that night! He was so nice and helpful and made me feel like a friend. Not only was he working the cash register but I saw him making the crepes and cleaning too! Wow! I got the gluten-free veggie and enjoyed the pesto and feta and mushrooms. Yum. And then for dessert I got a gluten-free peanut butter cup with ganache instead of Nutella and I added banana and dude recommended cinnamon too. So delicious. The peanut butter tasted real and substantial and the ganache was rich and decadent.
